FALL

The last couple of days in Central VA.

have awaken the desires for fall.

I love the color of the sky...

crunchy leaves

cool breezes

hint of smoke

crispy walks

PUMPKINS

Who can't love those colors?

Where we are in our little town of Monroe

there are about half dozen orchards!!

One of them happens to be located just down the 

road from us...

crisp fresh apples

tart and sweet

dripping with goodness...

gourds...

ready for my decorating desires

Oh My...

hurry up!!

Our next show is the Gathering in

Knoxville, TN.

I am sure that there will be plenty of fall

decorating at that show

to fill my heart!!

We have been so busy getting ready for all of our up coming shows

that time has really slipped up on me.

Just had Lee's family reunion over the weekend...

lets just say when it rains it pours!!! and not just rain drops!

The mister has to have hip replacement...yeah

and he is not moving as fast as he once was...

But he is being a trooper and trying very hard to 

work through the pain. I thinks he is going to 

try for the first of the year...maybe by then the doctor

will do it.

Friends...my buzzer just went off...that means various body

parts are dry now.

Make it a good one!

Finally...a place for all of the 

magazines of my life.

Love the bright touch in the middle.

So, what I did today??

Played in grunge mixture.

These are the checkbook covers.

Just gotta add a little something...

patch...

stencil...

ragg tagg...

who knows.

How to cover up the white white white tags..

easy...

just paint with the grunge mix.

I hate those stark white price tags...

so I just add a little grunge and let dry...

they stick perfect!!

Just a little something I made for the fireplace.

Our visit with Barbara Rice and Jerry was perfect!

We had so much fun.

You will just have to wait friends!

Did you know that I have not been on here in over a month...

Geez...time sure does go quick.

Here is a little look from the Knoxville show

Love this southern cupboard...it found a new home

Sweet table on a few make -do chairs..

they all found new homes...

yep even the orange carrier found a new home.

Love this little red wagon I found for my pillows...

this came home with me and is now in the front window of my shop.

Barbara Rice from Olden Days coming for a visit

on Memorial Weekend!!! I can't wait to spend the weekend with

her...so look for Millstone in her magazine soon!!

We are now planning a very hectic show schedule that will start in June

and end in Dec. 

How fun is that!!!! Love preparing for shows...
