He is working on this spool cabinet....

not bad.

He has the drawers to stain,

hinge the top,

and replace the leather (fabric) on top.

(pay no attention to the old drawer thing...it's his work bench)

We are going to Jo-Ann's Fabric store...

WELL..you DO NOT expect ME to go buy HIS fabric now do you?

OMG...if I got the wrong thing for his cabinet the world would

come to an end...SOOO

we all know that sometimes it is better to let them do some stuff for

their self!!

Not What I had Planned

Good morning friends...

this is not what I had planned for today.

I wanted to show you the awesome spool cabinet that Lee is

refinishing....but I forgot to bring the camera with me this morning..

DUUUHHHH....

But the last few days I have not been in my right mind...

Now I need YOUR help.

I need all the positive energy, prayers whatever it is that you do

sent this way please.

I go in on Monday morning for a breast biopsy.

I am trying with all my might to think that all will be o.k. and that this

"thing" in my body is just a complicated cyst,

but I will not know without it being tested.

I greatly appreciate all of your help.

Thanks to everyone who just loved Lee's table...

I feel like "Mama Walton" with that table in my kitchen.

Just An Old Door????

NOT!!!  Lee turned this old meat house door into

a wonderful saw buck table. It is now in my kitchen.

Date night was Friday night...and aside from being about

200 degrees in the auction house, we had a good time.

One of the things that we did buy was this awesome crock.

Both of us love crocks...this will probably stay in the home.



I will show you the rest of the "goodies" at another time...

they are all at the shop.

Aside from putting the saw buck table together, today is pretty slow.

We did finally manage to get some rain which was nice. 

Something about the rumbles of gentle thunder and hearing the rain makes it cozy

feeling inside, and Tinsley is wonderful to snuggle down with!

He and I were in the other bed...

SOMEBODY was snoring!!!!

being in school at the time I thought she was crazy...Friday was miles away.

But now that I am OLDER...Ya know she was RIGHT!!

It is either Friday...or Christmas! Yep I said it!

4 months to go...guess what?

I am FINISHED shopping!!!  wooohooo!!!!

WELL...when all you give is gift cards it doesn't take much!!

STOP....I want Off......

...do you ever feel like the picture below???

I feel as if I am chasing my tail...not catching it

and getting further behind.

The old saying...

two steps forward

twelve steps back

seems to be coming true!!

I just feel lost...I want to work on some fall things

for all the upcoming shows but I swear when it's 100 degrees outside

it is SO hard to think of fall.

My Chiro. Doc is out of town at the beach....

I NEED him...my rib has popped back outa place

and it is beginning to really bother me.

THEN...I had my mammy 2 weeks ago...thought all was well

cause I mean it has been 2 weeks...

Gotta phone call today...all IS NOT well...

gotta go for some more tests...next week.

They just leave you hanging, don't they know

what that does to your nerves?

AND...the electric company STILL has me owing them

like $11,000.00. Can't someone out there figure

out what happened??????

A Full House....
