Behind The Scene...

Lee does not like the limelight nor does he
ever want to take the credit for what he does,
but heck...
I can not build this table
(yeah you have seen it but I took it out of my kitchen and put
it in the Keeping Room)
And just look at this pie safe...this is the "after" and I am sure that you will remember...

the "before"

Seems like I was the only one that liked the color of that pie safe.
It is walnut and old and now sits in my foyer.
I feel truly blessed to have such a husband that really loves to do the
same things as I do.
When we get in the home shop together...
watch out!!!!
You just never know what will come out.

Soooo, I am "stuffed" out....
my nails are forever stained brown
and I truly think there is cinnamon in every nook and cranny
in my kitchen...and have you ever smelled burning
cinnamon???
YUK!!
Will show you what I have been up to in the next few days.

Thank you for your visit and have a great evening.

Robin

  1. Your Mister is very talented. It is so nice to be able to craft together. My Mr. P. loves doing woodwork, refinishes furniture and makes things out of junk. Then I do my prims and together we have a great selection at our craft show. Smiled as you talked of your nails, kitchen and all that stuffing. Our show is this weekend a 3 day one and I have one more thing to get done tomorrow and I will be packed, priced and Pooped!!!! Have a great evening.

  6. So....how would you like to share your Lee?? ;o) Unfortunately, while my DH "indulges" my primitivity, he doesn't necessarily "get" it, nor is he an "aider and abetter..." Oh well....he does have his talents. Love your table and that pie safe...he did a fantastic job!!! Don't think I've ever seen a pie safe with a shelf below like that. How convenient for extra display space!! You have a gorgeous, gorgeous, home from what I can see. Have a very happy tomorrow! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
