~~Summer Attire~~

Howdy folks...come take a small tour...
Welcome

Mr. Millstone has since hung my big ole sign for me
above the squeaky  screen door.
It lets me know that you have come in for a visit.

Come take a quick glance at the Farmers Market.
Fresh sewn watermelon
radish
strawberries
lettuce
carrots
pears.
I love my little red wagon...
right now its for display only until Christmas..
then MAYBE after the Open House I will let her go!

Love Primitives goods...
attic surface
trace of blue
trace of red...
all are my favorites.

Look how bright that watermelon is..
love the look of just tossing it into an old bowl.
Made in America signs..
doesn't get much better.

I am having a love affair with the old labels...
this one I fixed into a chocolate box.
A sweet door box with geraniums and one of my flags
add to the country charm of summer.

I so hope you enjoyed your little tour...

~~The Past Month~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Did you know that I have not been on here in over a month...
Geez...time sure does go quick.
Here is a little look from the Knoxville show
Love this southern cupboard...it found a new home
Sweet table on a few make -do chairs..
they all found new homes...
yep even the orange carrier found a new home.
Love this little red wagon I found for my pillows...
this came home with me and is now in the front window of my shop.
Sweet mantel that Mr. Millstone built out of old shutters.
Now for the stocked shop...
Welcome...
come on in
Cute grouping...I think
Come up on the porch...
the sap buckets have all found new homes...
but they were pretty cool.
Another inside...kinda got out of order..
Well now you are pretty much caught up on what I have been doing..
except that I will tell you that I have
Barbara Rice from Olden Days coming for a visit
on Memorial Weekend!!! I can't wait to spend the weekend with
her...so look for Millstone in her magazine soon!!
We are now planning a very hectic show schedule that will start in June
and end in Dec.
How fun is that!!!! Love preparing for shows...
What have you all been doing since I went missing.
Hope you are enjoying spring like weather instead of snow!!
Blessings to you...
~~~~Meade Tavern~~~~

**********
Evening.
It's been a while,
but I had the honor of being asked to decorate the
Meade Tavern for their Valentine Dinner Fundraiser.
So...
that along with the last show has taken a little of my time...
and stuffing carrots..no laughing Lori!!

Meade Tavern has ties to the Civil War, Daniel Boone and
Thomas Jefferson...
HOWEVER..
for the past 100+ years they have used it as a home...
complete with paneling, wallpaper and carpet.
The tavern remains and can be seen in the upstairs where
the floors are W-I-D-E planks and beautiful.
The Friends of New London is raising money through fundraisers
and hopefully grants to bring it back to the original state.
I have placed a few pieces of furniture throughout to give it a more lived in look.

I have thoroughly enjoyed helping with this project
and I am sooo looking forward to the
Valentine Dinner tomorrow night.

Now we are moving on getting ready for the next show...

Some Favorites...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello friends...
I think I will survive this head cold after all.
Lee gave it to me...thoughtful of my dear sweet husband
wasn't it....NOT.
You have asked to see some of my home and here she is..
Just some shots from a few rooms...the cleaner ones...
You noticed that there were no kitchen shots!!
Not today friends...not today.
Had a small amount of snow...roads were awful..
cars were sideways...upside down...in ditches.
I was so glad to see my street and even more excited to
be snuggled down in front of a fire
with hubby and my babies.
Have a Blessed evening...
Robin
