...And Fun Was Had By All

I do not know where to start. So may play pretties were at the show, I can't possibly tell you about them all. There were some amazing artisans and wonderful primitive furniture. I just wanted a u-haul to load everything up and bring it home. My heart was pounding when I was touching a early 1800's stepback...I wanted that, then I turned around and found an early early dry sink....I wanted that heart almost stopped. I just love old painted furniture. I did buy an old bench wringer, which I will turn into a really neat coffee table (picture will follow in a few days). I had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people, thank you so much for making the show a success for Millstone. We sure did bring home a lot less than what we took!! Hopefully there will be another show the first part of July...we will be ready. Now for a sadder Champ cat, who is 21, is not doing well at all. We know that it is just a matter of time before he is in Kitty Heaven, mousing and chasing anything that moves. This is just hard for me 'cause I have had him for soooo long. But I will not end this on a sad note. It is a beautiful spring like day here and I am really liken' it. Think I will take a muddy walk down to the crick and think about what new prim items Jan and I can make for the shop and our next show. Again, thank you to everyone for all of your wonderful comments and for your support.

Hope you are having a sunshine filled day

  1. Wow, wish I could have been there! Your items were no doubt beautiful, and sure to fill their new owners' hearts with joy. I'm sorry to hear about your kitty. The anticipation of loss is sometimes harder than the loss itself. It is a comfort to know you're doing what you can to make the last moments loving and pleasant. I'll pray for comfort for you, and your kitty.
